In the spring of 2005, Sverica made an investment to acquire a majority stake in Ackerman Security Systems, the largest independent provider of security alarm installation and monitoring services in the greater Atlanta market with more than 25,000 customers.

With its experienced staff and its Atlanta based state-of-the-art U.L. central station monitoring center, Ackerman Security Systems is able to serve residential and commercial customers’ broad range of security needs.
