Prospect Education

Prospect Education, based in Reno, Nevada, is a provider of career college educational services. Prospect was formed in 2003 as a platform for growing a regional company based on acquisitions of career colleges and organic growth through additions of campuses and new programs. Prospect Education acquired Clarita Career College in Canyon Country, California in June of 2003 as its first acquisition, subsequently opening a branch in Lancaster, California. Clarita Career College offers a variety of vocational programs including legal assisting and allied health programs. In November of 2005, Prospect Education acquired Charter College, a premier college in Anchorage, Alaska. Charter offers certificates through bachelor’s degrees in programs such as medical office administration, information technology and business management. The colleges provide high quality practical curriculum bringing graduates to the employment marketplace as quickly as possible with the skill sets and experience demanded by employers in each area of emphasis. Prospect offers a slate of high quality programs for career minded students. Charter Colleges is nationally accredited and students are eligible to participate in traditional federal financial aid grant and loan programs.
